Charles Lucy
Charles Lucy (1814-1873) was a British historical painter of the Victorian era. He is best known for his "Landing of the Pilgrim Fathers" in the National Heritage Museum - Lexington, Massachusetts, USA, engravings of Oliver Cromwell, and a "missing" painting of King Charles I of England after his execution. Charles E. H. Lucy
Charles E. H. Lucy (b. 1946) is a systems analyst, composer, and music theorist. He has researched and developed the ideas of John 'Longitude' Harrison. He is the great-great-grandson of Charles Lucy the painter. In 1994 he worked with James Sanger (since then of Dido, and Keane producer fame) to produce the original LucyTuned Lullabies (from around the world) album, using their tuning research. In August 2004, they worked together again to produce LucyTuned Lullabies II, using the research and experience that they had both gained during the intervening ten years.
