A Broken Frame (1982) | Construction Time Again (1983) | People Are People (1984) |
Released by Depeche Mode in 1983, this album saw two shifts in DM's sound. One: the lyrical content started to deepen. Two: their sound starts to take on darker flavors, where Black Celebration truly took this flavoring and cemented it as a permanent feature in DM's future works.
