Geometric Software Solutions is a CMMI Level 5 company and the leading PLM services provider with over 19 years of experience in CAD/CAM/CAE, and PDM. The company is head quartered in Mumbai, India and has wholly owned subsidiaries in the USA and Singapore and a branch office in Germany. The Singapore subsidiary, Geometric Software Solutions Pte. Ltd., has a branch office in Japan. The Geometric scrip is traded on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange India in India. 3D PLM Software Solutions Ltd. is a joint venture between Geometric Software Solutions Co. Ltd. and Dassault Systemes, with an equity participation of 70% and 30% respectively.
History
Set up as a Division of Godrej and Boyce in 1984-85, Geometric Software has come a long way in the product development and Software Services. The company got incorporated in the year 1994. With the IPO in 2000, the company got listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange India. In 2002 it entered into a joint venture with the Dassault Systemes of France, that led to the formation of 3D PLM Software Solutions Ltd.
