Goosebumps is a television series that aired on Fox Kids from 1995 to 1998. It is a horror anthology series for children, based on the Goosebumps books by R. L. Stine (who also hosts the show), and its spinoffs Goosebumps 2000, and Goosebumps: 10 Tales to....
The low budget episodes run for half an hour and mostly feature cheap special effects. Some consider the actors present in the series to be of subpar quality. Several actors portray different roles; Scott Wickware, Cory Sevier and John White are the most popular, each featured in at least 5 episodes.
The show ran for three full-length seasons, and an eight-episode fourth season; totalling 74 episodes. The original Goosebumps books only had 62 issues -- thus some of the episodes are based on Goosebumps 2000, and a couple more on the 10-short-story special editions.
In the third season, the series' title was changed to The Ultimate Goosebumps.
