In this image, the analemma for planet Earth is plotted with width highly exaggerated, which permits noticing that it is very slightly asymmetrical (due to the slight eccentricity of the Earth's orbit. On November 3 the equation of time can be up to 16min 23sec fast; on February 12 it can be up to 14min 20sec slow.
