Blockade in front of NYSE. Picture taken in April 2004. The New York Stock Exchange building is blockaded by security personell and police armed with M16 machine guns and police dogs. Such security measure was in response to the 9/11 terrorist attack to the US. Years ago, tourists could watch stock traders work on the Exchange's tradefloor from the balcony of the mezzanine level. The building is no longer open to the public.
