James R. Flynn

James R. Flynn, Emeritus Professor of Political Studies at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, is notable for his discovery of the Flynn effect, the continued year-on-year rise of IQ test scores in all parts of the world. He is an active participant in the academic debate on race and intelligence.
Flynn is also a passionate campaigner for liberal causes.
