This message is displayed when you decide to log out. Might it not be interpreted as encouragement to have more than just one user name? If so, it wouldn't fit in with the Sock puppet text, which insinuates deception rather than anything else on the part of a multiple-name user. 80.108.19.76 19:51, 2 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Perhaps it should say something on the lines of "this computer may be used to browse and edit Wikipedia anonymously, or to log on as a different user". This neither explicitly condones, nor condemns, sock puppetry. Martin 22:40, 2 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- How about, to expand on Martin's text: "this computer may be used to browse and edit Wikipedia anonymously, or for another user to log on". This removes any prompting for creating a second account. - Texture 22:43, 2 Mar 2004 (UTC)
