Mexico is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Walker Township, Juniata County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The CDP is defined for statistical purposes and has no status as a legal municipality. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 279.
Geography
Mexico is located at 40°32'36" North, 77°21'17" West (40.543341, -77.354771)1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²). 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 279 people, 112 households, and 89 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 145.6/km² (375.7/mi²).
