Trivia

Mooresville was founded in 1824 by Samuel Moore, a Quaker from North Carolina. It is the birth place of the artist Paul Hadley, who was the designer of the Indiana State Flag.

Gravity Hill is a locally famous land mark located at the intersection of State Road 42 and Keller Hill Road. Because of an optical illusion, cars parked at the bottom of the road appear quite convincingly to roll uphill. This has been featured in many regional television and newspaper reports.
