Shomuni (ショムニ) is a Japanese manga and TV drama.
The stories revolve around the Office Ladies of General Affairs department 2 (Shomu ni, or GA-2) in a large multinational company. Although GA-2 is considered the thrash heap of the company, where employees are dumped when they mess up elsewhere, and are given the lousiest menial tasks in the hope they will quit (and many have), they have their own pride as women, and of course some scheme involving winning money or far-away trips which require the company not to go broke, and in every episode they wind up saving the company from the mess created by the misunderstandings between human affairs (eternally bent on eliminating the department of GA-2), the glamorous overseas department, and their archrivals, the secretarial staff. GA-2 has a Chief, who however does not seem to do anything else but care for a fat red cat.
