According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.7 km² (3.0 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,380 people, 552 households, and 399 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 178.8/km² (462.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 92.03% White, 3.77% African American, 0.72% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.03% from other races, and 1.45% from two or more races. 3.19% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
