This article has too much bias for me. For instance I think we could omit comments like `piratical` and `brigand` without the factual content suffering. After all a few decades later both sides of the Civil War would employ privateers which were little more than legalized pirates. I think if we allow articles like these to educate our children we`re little better than our Communist friends and they`re biased reports of history...
