I deleted this from the article for now:
- Ababinili ("sits above") was the personification of terrestrial fire, distinct from the sun's fire. The Chickasaw also venerated Sint Holo, a horned serpent who appeared to young males of great intellect and wisdom.
This snippet about Chickasaw traditional religion is odd in the article without more information. I put it here in hopes that someday somebody will build on it for the article. --Kevin Myers 21:16, Jan 24, 2005 (UTC)
