Tylertown is a town located in Walthall County, Mississippi. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,910. It is the county seat of Walthall CountyTemplate:GR.

Tylertown is located at 31°6'58" North, 90°8'34" West (31.116209, -90.142817)Template:GR.

Demographics

The racial makeup of the town is 56.34% White, 41.41% African American, 0.16% Native American, 0.84% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.47% from other races, and 0.79% from two or more races. 1.10% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
