Im from New Zealand but am actually South African origionally - I am terrible at spelling but will promise to try hard.
Ive been aware of wikipedia for a while - ive had my own wiki on my server since 2002 (its a twiki wiki), but only started to contribute in 2003. Twiki is writen in perl which is my language of choice.
I worked in Western Australia for a while an an exploration geologist, so I should probably try to do some geology stuff, I was quite intrested in vulcanology (gee that stub needs some additions!)
Im intrested in lots of stuff, especially open source, technology, science fiction, trance & dub music, blah blah blah. Whats the point of listing all the things ive ever been interested in? (some of my intrests will be evident below)
In real life im a network engineer/sysadmin for an isp in new zealand where i get to play with linux and freebsd sendmail and apache and the other friendly daemons
I did a few additions before I created an account, mostly on Dub music, psychedelic trance added various bits to open source and linux related stuff. Now I have an account im starting to take my contributions a little more seriouisly
