Hi, I'm Stephen Forrest, a Canadian software developer living in Waterloo, Ontario.
My interests are pretty wide-ranging and disorganized, but I'm particularly interested in history, politics, language, mathematics, and the issues of my native Canada; these have formed the bulk of my contributions to Wikipedia to date. As of December 11, 2004 I am the 301st highest contributor to Wikipedia; that's more than a little scary.
I graduated in 2001 with a B.Math from the University of Waterloo.

Language
I'm mostly a unilingual anglophone. However, thanks to the Canadian school system I'm somewhat fluent in French. I'm also trying to learn German and know a very few words of Dutch.
