WUNC-FM (restyled in 2005 as North Carolina Public Radio) is a public radio station based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, broadcasting NPR, American Public Media, and BBC programming in an all-"news and information" format. It is operated out of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The station was run by students early in its life, and had studios in Swain Hall on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus. Broadcasters Carl Kasell and Charles Kuralt both worked at WUNC-FM during this period.
One of the shows produced at the station is The People's Pharmacy, with Joe and Terry Graedon, which is syndicated nationally.
WUNC broadcasts from Chapel Hill on 91.5, Rocky Mount (WRQM) on 90.9, and Manteo (WUND) 88.9.
