West Hattiesburg also known as Oak Grove is the portion of Hattiesburg, Mississippi located in Lamar County, Mississippi. As of the 2000 census, the area had a total population of 16,305, but more land farther west was annexed in 2003.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 18.6 km² (7.2 mi²). 18.3 km² (7.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.39% water.
