Carbwiser is a controlled-carbohydrate book by Englishman Dave Mills that uses a question and answer format to give the reader the information needed to follow a controlled-carbohydrate way of life safely.
Carbwiser is based on over two years of the author’s experience and a personal loss over nine stone.
The book attempts to address many of the alleged health scares pushed by the media in an attempt to slow the growth of the various diets that use controlling the intake of carbohydrates to improve health and restore the body to an ideal weight.
Although the Carbwiser book can be used as a stand-alone plan, the information can be useful to followers of other controlled-carbohydrate or low-carbohydrate methods of dieting such as the Atkins Nutritional Approach.
The first edition of Carbwiser was published and distributed by the author as an e-book in October 2002. The second edition followed closely behind in November 2002 and was now published as an A4 comb bound book that was laser printed.
