Primary Characters

Mega Man

  • Also Known As: Rock, Rock Man
  • One of the main characters in the comic and the star of the video games, Mega Man is the epitome of the dumb hero. While always virtuous and victorious, he has the brain the size of a peanut and it oftens shows. As a robot, his Primary Objective is to stop Dr. Wily, his Secondary Objective is to be an idiot. As such, he's incredibly competent when it comes to destroying Robot Masters and other Dr. Wily creations, but a total moron the rest of the time. Sadly this does not save him from being sliced cleanly in two by Non-Alternate Mynd.

Proto Man

  • Also Known As: Blues, Break Man
  • Mega Man's older brother and prototype design, Proto Man is considered the most strategic fighter and one of the coolest characters in the cast. Taking everything in stride, this sunglasses-clad hero is caring and yet often embarrassed by his little brother. A self-proclaimed protector of humanity, he refused to let Mike get killed by Non-Alternate Mynd. He was last seen disposing of Evil Overlord Mike's ninja army.

The Author

  • Also Known As: Dave
  • As creator of the comic and near-omnipotent ruler of the universe it inhabits, the Author tries not to get directly involved in the affairs of the characters, aside from the occasional contrived plot device.

George

  • Also Known As: Blitz
  • A superhero from another dimension with the ability to control lightning, George is a generally good-natured ice cream lover. And while he's consistently saved from certain death by contrived plot devices, his experiences with time travel have not been kind. By trade he is an electrical engineer. He was able to defeat Non-Alternate Mynd by fusing with Chadling and becoming Charge.

Bob

  • Also Known As: Napalm
  • As George's younger brother, Bob naturally fell into the role of powerful super-villains. After being banished to the Megaman Universe, he has spent his time wandering the multiverse, seeking his home and maybe his ultimate revenge. Also an expert programmer, as shown by his reprogramming of Dr. Wily's robots. He took over Wily's job in the 5th Megaman game, but Megaman, Alternate Megaman, Future Alternate Megaman, Alternate Bass, Future Alternate Bass, Protoman, Ran, and Metool-D2 stopped him, sending him into a void between dimensions, seemenly forever.

Secondary Characters

Bass

  • Also Known As: Forte
  • Dr. Wily's ultimate success in copying and surpassing the power of Mega Man, Bass is perhaps the stupidest character in the entire comic. Like Mega Man, though, he is an excellent fighter and can be very dangerous.

"Let's go do something stupid."

Bob and George's Mother

  • Also Known As: Mom
  • Only seen in Bob and George's hand drawn home universe, their mother is shown as a large dark shadow with red eyes. Whether this is her true form, or is just symbolic of George's fear of her, has yet to be revealed.

Mike

  • Also Known As: Ninja Ned
  • Another former minion of Mynd and lover of overly-complicated martial-arts moves, Mike fell off a cliff and was thought to be dead for quite some time. But he has recently recovered. He works as the interviewer for the yearly parties and BnG News. He is apperently the target of Non-Alternate Mynd, he also recently had a nervous breakdown due to George saying he wasn't popular.

Mega Man X

  • Also Known As: X, Rock Man X, Reploid Hunter X
  • In the present, X has just been activated by Dr. Light and is having a hard time adapting to the stupidity around him. But in the future, X is a reluctant leader in the fight against Mavericks and saving humanity and one of the most powerful robots ever created. His weapon of choice is the Mega-Buster Mark 17, also known as the 'X-Buster', the most powerful (and stable) weapon of the age.

Zero

  • Also Known As: Reploid Hunter Zero
  • Based off of X's designs (stolen by Bass in Megaman 7), presently Zero is also nothing more than a half-finished bucket of bolts, sitting on one of Dr. Wily's lab tables. But in the future, he is possibly the most powerful force the world has known, superior to even X. His weapons of choice is a buster similar to the X-Buster in power, as well as the Z-Saber, a powerful laser sword.

Dr. Thomas Light

  • Also Known As: Dr. Wright, Dr. Right, Dr. Hikaru
  • Dr. Light has made several mistakes in his career, most of which involved trusting Dr. Wily. Because of this, while he remains the foremost authority on artificial intelligence and robotics, he is also an alcoholic. Although he has been shown participating in Satanist activities, he was on drugs at the time. He was able to stop the battle between Non-Alternate Mynd and Charge, and is now grudgingly repairing his robots.

Roll

  • Designed to replace Mega Man as Dr. Light's assistant, Roll has grown out of that role and donned a battle suit to fight the forces of evil. As one of the few females in the cast, she is in the unfortunate position to represent her entire gender, which can't be easy since she's the only female robot. It's gonna be a long and miserable 100+ years before the creation of female "Reploids"

N4-T3

  • Also Known As: Nate
  • Originally an evil Yellow Demon designed to destroy Mega Man, Nate was reprogrammed into a powerful force for good. He is the most soft-spoken (to the point of never speaking) and possibly one of the smartest characters in the cast. Last we saw him, he was trapped in a water cooler, presumably put there by Chadling.

C1-14D-L1N6

  • Also Known As: Chadling
  • Also originally an evil foe, this Purple Demon was a minion of Mynd before he realized the error of his ways and switched teams. Perhaps the ultimate lover of ice cream and definitely a danger to all who threaten him, Chadling is an extremely powerful opponent. He was last seen making fun of Nate, who was trapped in a water cooler.

Ran Cossack

  • Also Known As: Ran[afk], The Commie-Bot
  • Created by Kalinka, Dr. Cossack's daughter, as a last-minute science fair project, Ran is a favorite of the community. He is very fragile and can be broken with a mere touch. This is due to Kalinka's unshakable devotion to Communism, and her belief that efficient construction with good quality, imported materials is too capitalistic. Because of this, he breaks fairly easily and must respawn frequently. His weapon of choice is the Cossack Buster, a weapon even more powerful than the X-Buster, but has powerful recoil which usually results in his dying and respawning. If thrown at a target while wielding the Buster, Ran tends to explode, obliterating the localised area, before respawning. This battle tactic is known as 'Ran-bombs'

The Villains

Dr. Albert Wily

  • Also Known As: Dr. Wily
  • Essentially the cause of all the problems in all the Megaman games, Dr. Wily is nevertheless a fairly incompetent robotist. He is constantly working on some new scheme to defeat Dr. Light and Mega Man once and for all. It has also been hinted that he is a devil-worshipper.

Mynd

  • Also Known As: That Sigma Wannabe
  • Once the ultimate villain, Mynd was nearly successful in defeating the cast and taking over the Megaman Universe. In the end, though, he was defeated by the combined forces of Bob and George. He is apparently not dead, but his current whereabouts and intentions are unknown.

Non-Alternate Mynd

  • Also known as: Dear god, another one of him?
  • This is the version of Mynd that is from the main Bob and George universe. He works for Mikes home dimension counter part, and attempted to kill Mike. However, his plans were thwarted by Charge, a fusion of George and Chadling.

The Helmeted Author

  • Also Known As: Helmut, "Uncle" Fisty
  • Originally a malevolent version of the Author, it was revelaed that he was actually the dark lord Fistandantilus. He tried to take over the Bob and George universe, but he was defeated in a mere five minutes by The Author. He has since been banished to the White Space and now passes his time getting drunk, insulting everyone, and torturing those who drop in.

  • Roll - The Roll from the Japanese universe. Rockman's kind housekeeping sister. She was killed in Alternate Dimension by Bob.

  • Metool-D2 - a Metoru (Metal / Hard Hat), classic enemy in the whole Mega Man series, who helped Bass defeat Bob during the fifth Mega Man game storyline, and then was transported to an alternate dimension.
  • Circus - An elephantesque robot, based on one of the Mavericks from Mega Man X that Dr. Light can combine with to turn himself into a powerful fighting machine.
