Custom Robo is a video game for the Nintendo GameCube. It is a science fiction action game in which the player pilots and customizes a minature robot to battle other players in an arena called a Holosseum. Holosseums come in a variety of sizes and layouts, and some even feature environmental hazards, such as ice or lava. On average robos are 12in tall.
Characters
- You: You're a kid with no family who lives in a Triplex with a weird abusive couple with children, and your landlady. The first part of the game has the father leaving you with a watch.
- Lucy: Your landlady who wakes you up every morning.
- Harry: A member of the Steel Hearts who first wants to have you join so that he can shove you around. He tries to be a real ladies man, and for whatever reason it works to some degree. This is a male oriented game, and almost all the women in the game are overly skinny with no wit about them.
- Marcia: A member of the Steel Hearts who is the pride of the team for some part of the game. Orphaned, she lived with her brother until he upped and left too. She has the ability to "half-dive" which means to see through a Robo's eyes.
- Ernest: The "leader" of the Steel Hearts. He really doesn't do anything but yell in the first part of the game. In the "The Grand Battle" he's in a few parts but whatever. He has a keen eye for poetry.
- Evil: Your "Arch-Nemesis". A pathetic chump that is egotistical and rather annoying, and is the leader of another bounty hunter group called Dark Blue.
- Linda: The Lab director. She's in a bunch of places, and both Ernest and Harry have a crush on her.
- The Police Squad (as a whole): Group of people who only actually worked in one part of the game. To join you need to take and pass a Class-A test. Harry's older sister is a high ranking member who constantly tries to get him to join.
- Ray 01: The first Custom Robo you obtain, equipped with Standard everything else.
- Rahu: A robo that can think for itself, it is the main enemy in this game. It is constantly evolving.
- The Z Syndicate: An evil orginization that was originally created to tell people about Rahu, but over time their goal changed to capturing Rahu and using him to destroy the world. Z has two leaders, Eliza and Oboro.
