Danielle Reyes, in a still from Big Brother 3.

Danielle Reyes (born January 22, 1972) was the first runner-up on the third installment of the American Big Brother reality series.

Her motives were clear very early in the game: she wished to win the money so she could give a better life to her husband and her daughters. Many houseguests saw this from the beginning and did not take her words of confidence seriously.

She was kept toward the end, however, as a very safe competitor; none of the houseguests, save for ally Jason Guy, thought Danielle stood a chance in the final vote. Danielle ended up winning the second-place prize on finale night by a vote of nine to one, with the majority of the houseguests voting for Lisa Donahue to win.

Danielle's remarks in the Diary Room

Danielle had a penchant for doing impressions of famous people, such as Tina Turner, but she most notably critiqued all of her housemates in a Diary Room clip.

Other houseguests saw the tapes afterwards and did not like her critiques. For example, she adopted a redneck voice for fellow houseguest Amy Crews, and drawled, "I like cheese...and more cheese!" She also termed Josh Feinberg as the "most unsexiest [sic] man I've ever met in my life." She was also part of a discussion with Marcellas Reynolds, in which she agreed that houseguest Tonya Paoni had "the heart of a ho."

Catchphrase

Danielle adopted a catchphrase during the season, which really didn't catch on like Monica Bailey's "It's ON!" before her. Danielle would describe plot twists as "scandalous," but toward the end of the game, she would use the word more often, making her a subject for ridicule on Internet message boards and fan chat rooms.

Danielle also insisted that she went "ghetto fabulous" on houseguest Lori Olsen when Lori yelled at other houseguests for covertly chastising Gerry Lancaster for not washing his hands after he left the bathroom. Danielle yelled at Lori briefly and politely asked Gerry to wash his hands next time he uses the bathroom, prompting discussion groups to question the validity of her somewhat outrageous label.
