Granny Goodness

Template:Superherobox Granny Goodness is a supervillain follower of Darkseid in Jack Kirby's Fourth World meta-series published by DC Comics.
She runs the orphanage on Apokolips and is the chief of the Female Furies. She also raised Highfather's child of New Genesis Scott Free in an act to end the war between New Genesis and Apokolips. Scott Free finally later was the first and only child to escape Granny and become the superhero Mister Miracle.
Granny's History
Granny Goodness is not a "New God" but is, in fact, one of the mortals of Apocalypse whom has received great powers for her service to Darkseid. Raised to be one of the "Hounds" of Darkseid (the bald and cruel soldiers), she was instructed to kill a beloved pet as the finale of her initiation. Instead, she killed her trainer for ordering it. Darkseid, impressed, ordered her to do it and she reluctantly complied.
