Kohler is a village located in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 1,926.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 14.4 km² (5.6 mi²). 14.1 km² (5.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.98% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,926 people, 737 households, and 568 families residing in the village. The population density is 136.7/km² (354.0/mi²). There are 792 housing units at an average density of 56.2/km² (145.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 97.20% White, 0.05% African American, 0.00% Native American, 1.92% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.26% from other races, and 0.52% from two or more races. 0.83% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 737 households out of which 38.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.4% are married couples living together, 3.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.9% are non-families. 21.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.61 and the average family size is 3.06.
In the village the population is spread out with 28.8% under the age of 18, 3.3% from 18 to 24, 27.5% from 25 to 44, 27.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who are 65 years of age or older. Business
The largest employer in Kohler is the Kohler Company, a worldwide leader in plumbing products. Besides the factory, the Kohler Company also owns The American Club golf resort in Kohler, whose Whistling Straits course complex hosted the 2004 PGA Championship, will host that event again in 2010 and 2015, and will also be the site of the 2020 Ryder Cup.
