moe. is an American jam band, formed at the University of Buffalo in 1990. The band members include: Al Schnier (guitar), Chuck Garvey (guitar), Rob Derhak (bass), Vinnie Amico (drums), and Jim Loughlin (percussion). While gaining a reputation for onstage antics and a good sense of humor, the band's debut official release, Fatboy (1992) began to establish the band as a favorite of the same 1990s scene that produced Phish and Dave Matthews Band. Known for incorporating improvisation, moe. went through multiple personnel changes in the late 1990s. Their latest studio release is Wormwood (2003).
