Ozzfest

Ozzfest is an annual tour of the United States featuring performances by many heavy metal groups. It is organized by Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon Osbourne.

The tour is traditionally composed of two stages. The first stage usually consists of the headlining artists, these are usually the most popular and well-known artists out of the bands performing. The second stage has mostly lesser-known or newer groups, with additional bands rotating in.

In 2002, an Ozzfest was held in the United Kingdom - at Donington Park (to be the site of the Download festival in following years).

Most of the time, Ozzfest is held in large, outdoor stadiums, due to the large number of attendants.

Ozzfest 2004 began in Hartford, Connecticut on July 10, 2004. Ozzfest 2005 with begin on the 15th of July and run until the 4th of August.
