Synopsis
The main story revolves around the character Apu, who owns a store called the Kwik-e-mart. Apu, who is just getting used to being single and dating around, finds out that it is time for his arranged marriage with Manjula. His and her parents arranged this marriage years ago by tradition in India. Apu, with the help of Homer, tried everything to escape but failed and ends up forced to marry Manjula even though he had had no contact with her since they were both eight years old. They marry (mostly) happily in the Simpsons' back yard.
After the episode, Manjula becomes one of the characters on the show appearing sometimes with Apu.
