School Days

Jeshii's elementary school days were spent at two different schools. He was enrolled in the nearby Wilbur Avenue Elementary School. Although his parents soon moved farther away, using an address of a family friend, he was able to continue an Wilbur. Due to his excellent test scores in 1st grade, he was put in a bilingual class in an attempt to use his head start to help the slower students, to the dismay of his family. Some of his friends at this school included Brett Comden and Amanda Buckles.

To was pulled out of Wilber, and placed in Lockhurst Drive Elementary School, which was his local school. He stayed there until 4th grade. His 2nd and 3rd grade teacher was Ms. McIntee. His 4th grade teacher was Ms. MacGinnes. His friends at this school were mainly girls, including Larissa Cohen, the first girl he ever 'liked.'

Jeshii attended Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies(SOCES) from 5th grade to 12th grade. He had long hair during this time. It was here that he grew into adulthood and many of his decisions were influenced by his time at SOCES. A few of his favorite teachers included Ken Mukai and Don LaFraniere. As for his friends, more information can be found at the REVECESS Wiki (http://panadero.dyndns.org/revecess/).

College Days

In 1999, he moved to Santa Barbara to attend the University of California, Santa Barbara. There he initially studied physics with the intent to major in it, but decided in his 2nd year that Japanese would be a better bet. He graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor af the Arts degree in Japanese Language and Cultural Studies in March, 2003.

The JET Program

In July of 2003, he joined the JET Programme and was placed as Nakanojo-machi's AET.

He currently lives in Nakanojo with his girlfriend, 諸田やよい.
